Paul J. Lawyer, D.M.D.

Dr. Lawyer received a Bachelor of Science degree from Albright College, in Reading Pennsylvania. He attended dental school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey, now Rutgers Dental School. He graduated with a D.M.D. degree in 1994. Following dental school he entered a general practice residency program at West Jersey Health System, now Virtua Health System. He completed the program 1995.

Dr. Lawyer entered private practice immediately following the completion of the residency program at Atco Family Dentistry P.A. He was an attending faculty member at West Jersey Health System from 1995 to 2006. He is past president of the Southern Dental Society of New Jersey. He currently serves as a member of the board of trustees of the New Jersey Dental Association, as well as the Southern Dental Society representative to the council on dental benefit programs. He is also a member of the Board of the New Jersey branch of the Dental Lifeline Network, a volunteer organization that oversees the Donated Dental Service program of which he is also a volunteer. He is a member of the Pinnacle Dental Study Club, a local branch of the national Seattle Study Club. He and Dr. Leska are also the school dentists for the Waterford Township Schools.

Dr. Lawyer is married with three children. He spends time out of the office at sporting events for his children, helping to coach, and attending school activities. He enjoys the Jersey Shore (not the MTV version), home repair, and is an avid homebrewer.
